King Arthur , by Archie Wilson, whilst an unusual panto title was full of all the familiar panto silliness and characters. The show was a medley of live music, madness, fun and frolics, together with some scary moments. Morgana and her stupid sons, helped by their fearsome pet dragon, attempted hard to outwit Arthur and his mum, the dame, Sarah Spendapenny. Thankfully their faithful friend Laughalot was on hand to aid in their quest to defeat Morgana and rescue the beautiful Duke’s daughter, Guinevere. As in all good pantos it was love at first sight for Arthur and Guinevere, followed by much celebrating when a double wedding unexpectedly takes place.
