If performing on stage isn’t your passion, there are many opportunities to assist backstage. We are always in need of a strong team to support each production and backstage tasks include set building and decoration, lighting, sound, costumes, props, make up, publicity and ticket sales. This is all before a show can even start (!) and during performances we also require individuals willing to sell programmes and raffle tickets, plus serve interval refreshments.
A good backstage crew is essential in making a production a success, but no previous experience is necessary. We welcome new members to this role and our existing backstage team will be delighted to ‘show you the ropes’. Help is always available in a relaxed and friendly manner, plus many hands make light work, so you’ll be much appreciated by all.
